Happy Birthday, MoMa

Yay! Birthdays should be celebrated, whether child, middle-aged, or older.

Cool northern lights graphic, there. Or at least, I think that's what it is. Not that I would have ever seen it, living in the south all my life.

Don't let that peaceful little pose fool you. Wee kids and grandparents are the world's most natural and covert allies. Brace yourselves...

I think that is the FIRST time I have ever seen Norah sleep.

Wonder what Moma's secret is?!

Mark - I think it's the Northern Lights. I can't even remember what phrase I did an image search for. I was just looking for semething dreamy and peaaceful and end up liking this. I'll admit that I am a shameless graphic snatcher when it comes to these birthday greetings.

Simon - Norah has yet to really understand what a powerful alliance is possible with her grandparents...but I have no doubt she will learn soon enough.

Panache - MoMa would say she has some special knack for this...but I blame lucky timing :)That was taken right before we loaded the little miss into the car. We'd kept her up past her naptime so she'd sleep the whole way home. Typically that still isn't enough to make her sleep in your arms...but this day she was tired enough that she took what she could get.
