I love the warped look.
I also liked the warped look but I can't decide which I like better the photo or the "click image for monetary inflation." I might have to go with the words.

Did you darken the color of the pennies? It's an amazing splash of colors.

The story - This one was inspired by my blog pal Anna who has a knack for shooting stunning photos of everyday items. I took this shot a few weeks ago, but was never overly pleased with it. So I started playing. I erased the color from everything other than the pennies themselves and then added just a hint of a green tint that radiates from behind the pennies. It's not bright enough to even register, but it makes the copper pop even more than it would otherwise.
Mark - I, too, like the warping of the glass...but I can't take any credit for that. Old glass jar.
Steph - Thanks. I worked on about 15 different tactics to make the color pop. After about the 5th one, Moonshot left me with a, "They all look the same to me!!" ;)
Emilie - I don't know what I'm gonna do with all my change. I have a jar for each type of coin and I haven't cashed them in for about 5 years...so there's actually quite a bit there. I had once thought about donating it all since it's sorta free money in my mind. But the guess about college fund will probably turn out to be more accurate.
Simon - As much as Norah likes to stick her face under water...a trip to the local wishing fountain at the mall could be just what we need to get the rest of the bike funds. She'll love that bike all the more since she worked for it. ;)

This is a great shot. I do love those shots of everyday things and your changes only add to it.
Also, I like the "money inflation" comment.
With that many pennies, you can control the world. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
I just now inflated it, and I see dust on the right side of the jar. Cool.
Nice work with the post processing. I've played with this some, too, and I tend to get (1) frustrated, and (2) indecisive.

Great shot. I am a huge fan of bottles, glass, etc in images...and so I like this. The glass almost looks like seeded glass.
